First of all, thank you for being here!
Although I am not a newbie in the blogging world, this is my first website, built from scratch by me, so sometimes things might not work as expected. Also, English is not my native language. Although I do a very thorough check for spelling and grammar, some minor errors might slip 🙂
The reason I started this is because I want to show the world beautiful and unique places, UNESCO Heritage sites, the beauty of the nature but also to share tips and tricks, not-so-nice things (nobody is perfect), hidden gems and many other things. Please be patient, I will try to post as many times as my schedule allows me to.
There are some things I want to make clear from the very beginning, just to avoid any further misunderstandings:
– I am not a travel influencer. My personal profiles are private, but you are more than welcome to follow my two public accounts on Facebook and Instagram: @kritikizoi (the account where I post only photos and videos from Crete) and @skylinestoriesblog (the account associated with this blog, where I will post pictures from everywhere)
– I don’t travel in Business or First Class, I don’t get free plane tickets nor upgrades to the previous mentioned seats. And if a low cost can take me to my next destination, I am buying that ticket.
– I don’t stay in luxury, all inclusive, adults only resorts, with heated pools, private beach and unlimited margaritas. Neah, I prefer a room with a clean bed, toilet and shower and decent wi-fi connection. Therefore, don’t expect to see here reviews for such places, discounts or promo codes.
– All places or products mentioned here are places I have been to and products I have used, bought, drank or eaten. So expect a subjective opinion 😊
– All links will point to official websites, such as the Ministry of Tourism, local Touristic Bureau, regional authorities, etc. Before being posted, information is verified from official sources.
– All pictures are from my personal archive, copyright included. Please do not use them without approval 🙂
Thank you and stay tuned!
